Unique historical experience, Craft beer from on-site brewery, Charming courtyard for relaxation
The lack of evening meals left me scrambling in town!!! Old and damaged furnishings made the place feel rundown in key areas!!! Uncomfortable mattress quality made for a restless night!!!

great central spot steps from charming attractions and cafes
My stay was fantastic, exploring the nearby Maeldune Heritage Centre and enjoying coffee at the Maldon Coffee Company just a few steps away. the hotel itself had been tastefully refurbished, maintaining its unique character while offering beautiful accommodations.

Charming character with historical furnishings creates a unique atmosphere. The courtyard offers a cozy spot for relaxation away from the bustle, a nice touch for those wanting a moment of peace.
Finding the car park was a pain. even backtracking didn’t help until I asked inside. Room cleanliness left something to be desired, with sticky handrails and a poorly cleaned area behind the door. the mix of bright and cool light bulbs made the room's decor feel outdated. Breakfast timings were inconvenient too—I missed it because of the 8 am start. The noise from the adjacent stairs was a real nuisance during the night.

Charming Stay with Great Vibes
Had a lovely stay with friendly staff and a cozy bar with a warm fire. The room was stunning and super clean. Loved hanging out in the bar area, sipping on reasonably priced drinks. Just wish they had more food options onsite, but the local fish and chip shop was a quick fix! All in all, a fab experience.
